How to set T4 to minimum SMB2?

Hiya, i've hunted around the forums and the closest discussion i found was this one:

I tried manually setting my mount options to include "ver=2.1" (there was no mention of SMB in those settings). It didn't work, even after a reboot. Perhaps i'm not doing it correctly?

Typed too soon. Found it here:

The "Mount options" needs to be "rw,utf8,vers=3.0"

So the previous thread i quoted had a typo. The above worked for me
