I am trying to use the DNLA server so that I can view recorded programs in another room.
I have tried to use my Panasonic TV media player and also a Roku ultra.
Both devices see the DNLA server. The Panasonic displays the file list but if I select an item it says "cannot read file"
I can see the Roku reading a list but then it says "no compatible video files".
Both devices have no problems with the DNLA server on my Synology NAS
Any help would be appreciated

Re: Ploblem with Mini DNLA server
Are you sure that your TV is compatible with .ts media files?
What happens if you copy a recording onto your Synology NAS and then try to get the TV to play it from there?

Re: Ploblem with Mini DNLA server
Thanks MrQuade.
I think you are probably right about both devices not supporting .ts files. I had no trouble streaming to my PC
Since the requirement is only for a short time while I upgrade my main theater I have installed a spare T3 for the T4 files and use the Roku for the NAS files.
Not very elegant but at least it works reliably
