Regards to Further Error Log Reports

Good Afternoon I have already Posted these Log Lists these are the Bug reports from the failed multiple "Factory Reset’s" from 3 weeks ago, as well as all the others in the below mentioned Posts:
• trace-back failure, with no name
• twisted internet error connection
• font panel display says “DVB services” mode
• The Clock and Date are way out: ‘Thursday 01 January 1970 1006 AM
• THE actual correct Date and Time was 31st October 03.26
• Is this remote Okay? 2 Choices “NO or YES” while counting down from 30 seconds
• the NO or YES is locked in at “NO”
• there is no enigma file 2 asks “WHY” run service test shutdown
• exception in Python start-up code
• Line 280 Shutdown
• Line 673 Shutdown
• Line 591 ????
• Error: ‘ERMO 28’
• No space left on Device
These are not appearing now .Today I tried 3 times to scan and Load Services from EPG and It won’t? I thought it would emulate the TV’s Digital Services List but that could be normal?
This morning I tried to Play a Recording from a USB (Red & Black Sans) > menu Recordings > Red Black Sans > Green Button Says > Go To Red and Black Sands USB > Dublin Murders?
It starts with sound but no picture then it displays the Error Log Page:

so I am just trying to make sure before I do the Firmware upgrade, hopefully this will be a good outcome

If nothing else, the firmware update will provide a new fresh start without any leftover configuration nasties from previous setup attempts.

None of these bugs you describe are symptoms of any known bugs that are present in the version of firmware you are currently running, so there is some other factor at play here.

Once you have your physical connections sorted out, and a good reliable network connection to the Wiz, you should be able to flash the latest 19.3 firmware image, which is now a "release candidate" and can be found here.

I am about to do my V2 and I noticed when I opened the zip file the usual Beyonwiz folder was not present just the 2 files imageversion and USB_update.bin

Is this correct?

You have to hold the power button down while it says "boot" (power off/on, or MENU>Power>Reboot), after a little while it will change to "Updt", then you can let go, wait a bit more and then you can recover from USB.

It appears the firmware is not being detected on the USB flash drive, thus booting into your existing corrupted setup.

Ensure the USB flash drive is formatted in FAT32.
Ensure you extract the firmware to the flash drive so it has a 'beyonwiz' folder at the top level of the flash drive, the 'u4' folder within that, and then the 6 extracted files are within that 'u4' folder.

The "No space on device" error in that context suggests that at some time the U4 was run without any recording disk mounted, and recordings have been made into the firmware flash, filling it up.

That shouldn't prevent a re-flash of the firmware, though.

Good afternoon, I did exactly what adoxa said but I realised it was going somewhere when the splash icon appeared on the TV screen but this time it had a start button Icon in the middle of it so I touched the Front panel start button and a Red one came alive behind it and then the panel said Boot-up Boot up-date I waited and then it stopped and started to boot again so I removed the USB and it went straight to SCAN Programs which it did and now I can find my way around the machine bit by bit I'm still having trouble with the BBCode as you can see everything is Off but its still working t :) :D

Um, BBCode isn't working because you have "Disable BBCode" ticked.

BBCode needs to be enabled for BBCode markup to work.

In the image you attached to your earlier post, you highlighted that the 'Disable BBCode' option was ticked - download/file.php?id=5010
You shouldn't be ticking that option, you should have it unticked.
See below where I put a dummy reply to your "makes no difference" post, leaving your text exactly as you entered it, and I had the 'Disable BBCode' option unticked (as per my profile default). You'll see the post preview function correctly bolds your "no difference" phrase (as does my above "quoting" of your post).

At times, BBCode markup is correctly formatting some of your posts, e.g. the word 'everything' is underlined as per your markup formatting in this post - viewtopic.php?f=42&t=13707&p=182752#p182725 earlier in the topic.
I'm not sure what you're doing different at times.
Do you have the 'Enable BBCode by default:' option set to 'Yes' in your forum profile (User Control Panel / Board preferences / Edit posting defaults)? If so, then you shouldn't need to touch the 'Disable BBCode' option when posting/replying.

I asked ages ago about Dazzla_1's profile setting for BBCode. I didn't see a reply, but it may have been there somewhere.

IIRC, smilies were also disabled in that image.

If you look at these Two before and after Screen Shots it makes no difference I know prl, Gully Mr Quade and Geoff all of you have tried to help' but it's a problem it makes the same Mess every time so I will just leave it for the moment and give you all some peace (and myself)

Lost posts generally are the result of the forum being hakked, and then they are often all the posts from the previous few days, not specific to a single user.

The markup in your post all seems to have worked, though the use seems a bit overdone for my taste.

Putting "They are converted from" in bold doesn't compensate for the fact the the sentence ends at that point.

I wonder if Dazzla_1 is actually referring to draft posts. At times I have lost drafts of posts but the cause is my own clumsiness. Usually happens with the phone. Once posted, I have only ever accidentally reposted the same draft but never lost a post once submitted. Hence, I have never discussed the annoying sensitivity of the board when posting as I see no point. It is unlikely to change on my say so.

It is possible to compose a long post and inadvertently press the browser "back" (I think) in a moment of distraction whereupon the crafted text disappears. That is, if I'm not finished composing and have to leave the entry window for any reason (e.g. a call) the draft disappears. I try to take care to save a draft of a message to avoid this happening. You would think "forward" would return to the page but often not. Rarely I have managed to return to my incomplete draft but I've never really deciphered the subtlety of it all.

Its Probably all the above, it's usually caused by me I guess when I write a Reply and go searching for an Attachment or whatever and when I come back it's all gone' the first time I hit save Draft it vanished so now I draft everything on a word Doc first and then correct it and add the Attachment before Pasting
