No sound from DVD ISO.? Lil help please...!

My T3 arrived this morning, bit of a learning curve next to the P1/2... One of the reasons I bought it though was that it should be able to play ISO's from my NAS, but I can't get the sound to work...? Same problem with ISO's on the eSata HDD, I have updated the F/W and the Nas works fine in the P1/2 when playing most file formats, though not all. Any ideas...? Oh... and while I'm asking, how do I get 1080p output, because I can only see 1080i...?

Try pressing the AUDIO button and see if you can find a setting that works for you.

Also, are these PAL or NTSC DVDs? If you are trying NTSC, you may need to switch the A/V settings to 60Hz.

The highest output resolution is 1080i. However, you can still decode and play 1080p content.

It refers to the last time the firmware image (source code) was updated, not the last time you checked for / applied an update.

The isos are Australian DVD Rips, so that shouldn't be an issue, as for the rest, I'll get back to it as soon as I can and let you know how I go... Thanks

What are the pics of the output options showing 1080P about then?

If this is true, no ICE TV, no 1080P output, I think I am done with considering this.

Ok I've tried everything I can think of here, but I can't get any sound from my ripped DVD ISO's, They run fine, just no sound at all. MKV's work fine with audio, and smaller various extension files, work well also. When I go into the audio settings, there are two switches (Digital Downmix & AAC Downmix) whether these are on or off, one or the other on/off there is no sound. Select Audio Track, I assume is the one mentioned below, of which there is only one track to chose from. I see no options to pass through from my Denon Audio system, which is easily done on the P1/P2. These ISO's play fine on my tiny little Cuboxi4Pro, including Bluray ISO's with perfect sound, it is running "Geexbox" which I love, but it doesn't have the fine grained trick control of the P1/P2. I should at the very least be able to run ISO's through the T3....? What am I missing here..? Hopefully it's something simple

Yes it was fixed before - I think the release before this one IIRC.
