Before anyone is thinking "it's time for a replacement" let me say....your right & I have actually purchased a T4 to replace it. (delivery in a couple of days)
Couple of issues pertaining to the S1 i'm curious about
1: Fails to record some programs, even though the EPG is set to record that prog.
2: When a sign pops up to check possible damage to the HDD and I press 'yes" the progress bar moves only 1/4 of the way across the freezes. I left it on in that position overnight once but to no avail. To fix it, I had to unplug at the wall & reconnect it that way. So the HDD does not get checked. In order for me to continue using the unit after it wants to check the HDD, i press not.
3. Not able to delete most recorded programs at all. Just says "unable to delete"
4 Not able to upgrade firmware
Due to its age, there is no support
As mentioned, I now purchased a new T4 using the trade-in offer. But was just curious

The power supply on your DP-S1 has probably drifted out of tolerance. Contact the user Warkus (Mark) on this forum to enquire about his refurbishment services.
