Can't send to external USB

Post by Confused » Tue Dec 30, 2014 13:59

I found that I was unable to transfer a file from the DP-S1 to usb. Someone suggested that I try the rear port which I had forgotten about. It worked a few weeks back even thought the front one would not.

I tried again this morning & neither port is recognizing USB whether its been formatted in the PC of by the machine itself. I even tried a brand new stick that had never been used. Nothing works.

Is this the end of it? I suppose that the machine is starting to get a bit long in the tooth. I occasionally even had the machine can't play a file that it had trimmed saying that it was an unsupported format.

Thanks in advance

No. Is doing so likely to give machine a new lease on life & is doing so cost effective?
Thanks In advance

If the power supply is the problem - yes and yes.
Suggest you contact forum member Warkus for a diagnosis and repair (if needed). Make sure to mention you found him through the forum - he looks after forum members very well (as I'm sure he does all customers  ).

This is his store - don't worry about it being in WA - you'll probably need to send the PS away anyway and he has an excellent reputation on this forum.
