DP-P1 help

Hi,

I have a very old DP-P1 which has been working stellar for many years now, however since some new TV channels have commenced using the
HE-AAC audio format I find that the DPP1 has no audio on these channels.

Just wondering if any other DPP1 users have been able to get around this issue

Any assistance is greatly appreciated

You need to get a copy of the firmware 1.07.070 (identical to 1.07.350) for the DP-P1. It wasn't publicly released by Beyonwiz (as I recall) for the P1. Forum member Mark/warkus had it and was giving it out a few years ago.

He gave me a copy a while back but I upgraded to the T series and didn't install it on the S1.

Mark asked that I refer anyone who wants a copy to him in the first instance, since if it is risky. If applied to the wrong machines it will likely brick them. I have sent you a Private Message with a bit more of the details.
