Configuration / setting of ICE TV timers without the need for a PC . . :? or something like that.

You can do it now with a phone.

What did you have in mind?

This is a WizTV forum, so it would be convenient to press the WizTV button, and one of the options is IceTV.

From there you can view / change / set your IceTV timers similar to using IceTV Interactive or IceTV Widget.

I often see an advert for a tv show I might want to record, but have it incorped into interactive for the rest of the series, it would be nice to be able to do this with the Wiz (perhaps timer setting screen with a tick box for "upload to ICETV interactive" or something might be the easiest way to implement it).
Usually I just decide "ok, next time I am free I will setup the timer from the Widget on my PC" (which is on 24x7 so easy to do if I get off the couch) but then forget to do it :-)
Regards
Tony

+1.

They ability to set season passes via the Wiz itself would give it TiVo like appeal. There is no way my significant other would go to a PC to record something on the Wiz. And phoning it in from the couch when the Wiz is in front of you is the tech equivalent of man bites dog.

Is this something ICEtv can help develop?
