Register error with WizTV

Post by PapaJ » Mon Dec 20, 2010 21:39

Could just be me, I am a NOOB after all, but I can't seem to register. Every time I try the web site says "An error occurred completing your request, please try again later." Otherwise the site is "working". Is there a genuine problem or just me?

NB. Apologies if this isn't the right place for this post.

Where are you registering? You have to register on the WizTV web site first; that then gives you (IIRC) a magic code to use in your Beyonwiz to connect to WizTV.

There is currently a problem with the registration part of the WizTV server. I'm hoping we can get it fixed before the Christmas break.

Yes I have, that is the problem. As "Wiz Support" indicated, the registration isn't working. If you're already registered then I think you're OK.

Thanks for that. Just tried now and it still doesn't appear to be working. Now that Christmas is on us, do you have any info on ETA?

DPG won't be back until Jan 4
DPG Office closed for Xmas and New Years

You are not missing much to be without WizTV for a couple of weeks.

OK, it's Jan 9th and registration is still not working. I assume somebody's back in the office now ... can we get some sort of indication of if/when it's going to get fixed?

Try calling Beyonwiz Support. DPG, who are the Australian Beyonwiz agents, also run WizTV.
