Wiz Mac v0.8a Released.
Wiz Mac v0.8a Released.
Hi Guys,
I've uploaded a new bug fix release.
Wiz Mac Version 0.8a
This release fixes a crash which occurred when trying to load the file index with non-wiz recording files in the contents directory.
You can get it at the usual place. < website closed down >
A binary should be available here: http://www.openwiz.org/wiki/Software
Source is available here: http://trac.openwiz.org/wizmac
Please let me know if you find any problems.
Regards,
Eric

In the next firmware (whatever is released out of the current series of 01.05.283/287...), the problems in doing deletion "behind the GUI's back" become more apparent. If you delete through the WizPnP HTTP server, the deleted recording entries hang about indefinitely in the FilePlayer list, and not just in the WizPnP index.txt document. The "bad" entries in index.txt show up as weird entries in WizFX (I'm not sure how WizMac handles them). In 1.05.280 and earlier, index.txt gets rebuilt by some incidental things like making a recording, or deleting some other recording through the GUI. In the newer firmware, you can only rebuild the FilePlayer recordings list and the index.txt by a manual operation (press FILEPLAYER then SOUNDTRACK).Vatoe wrote:I haven't been here for a while, so I decided to have a look and I find a new version. Nice one, but a couple of suggestions:

I think it's still worth preserving --delete and --move in getWizPnP, but it's got a bit messier.

That would be because the site *has* closed. The guy who set it up was in Finland, and set it up because Beyonwiz provided him a prototype and were eyeing off to provide a unit for Finland. That never eventuated so he gave warning and took his site down.
All projects are now linked from http://www.openwiz.org but I think Eric Fry's mac stuff is only available in source code (but look for dmg files at the links provided, maybe they exist.. there was discussion on this only the other day).
