Re: Potential code for remote buttons
My old Mac (stuck in 10.11.6) doesn't have the POWER code (U+23FB?) in the font that Firefox uses by default or any other font, as far as I can tell).
From the Mac fonts, you could use , and as FF, REW and BACK as symbols that match the PLAY/PAUSE, STOP and REC that you've suggested. Are they in Windows fonts?
I don't have a good suggestion for POWER.
Oh, and why is this in the Test area?

Re: Potential code for remote buttons
My Windows 7 doesn't have it either, but I chose to include it anyway.
Those are the same FF and REW characters I've used (U+23E9 & U+23EA); my BACK is U+21BA (ANTICLOCKWISE OPEN CIRCLE ARROW). I see FF & REW as a bit bigger than the others. From the Mac fonts, you could use , and as FF, REW and BACK as symbols that match the PLAY/PAUSE, STOP and REC that you've suggested. 'Cos it's just a test. The new inline code style prompted it.Oh, and why is this in the Test area?

That's weird. Those characters render differently between the Firefox display screens and the composition screen.

Re: Potential code for remote buttons
No power symbol on Linux boxes either. Out of hundreds of fonts on my systems, none of them appear to have it defined.
