LiDiC and usb HDD conencted at the same time

Post by injidup » Thu Jul 05, 2012 15:06

Is it possible to connect BOTH a USB hard drive and a LiDiC at the same time - presumably with a USB hub?
I've just bought a LiDiC and am using an external HDD but there's only one USB port.
Ideally I'd like to be able to have input through the LiDiC and output to the USB disk.

Is this possible?

Kev.

I guess all you can do is to try it and see if it works. On the Popcorn forum a guy connected 9 hard disks to his C200 via a hub and it worked!

Hi Kev,

Make sure the hub is powered by an external power supply.

It probably won't work without the extra power available from the hub. I can't promise that what you want *will* work but a powered hub will improve the chances. :)

Regards,
Ian.
