Lidic Option

Post by 310 » Tue Dec 30, 2008 10:48

okay i have the P1 up and running now with some great forum support; you know who you are.

i am still using a Pioneer DVD/HD Recorder for foxtel but would like to fark that off as the tower of equipment is starting to shi* me to tears.

i know foxtel IQ or IQ2 is the best option but due to the construction of my house i doubt i can get either installed. (the foxtel port we have was pre-wired prior to plastering and paint) or is there a way around that, i have been told IQ/IQ2 needs to plugs in the wall?

dan.

Not sure what the question is here?

The LiDiC is certainly capable of recording the Foxtel output (as mpeg4) but the IQ optons woud be much better.

I don't really know anything about Foxtel but I would have assumed that the IQ/IQ2 would just connect in as a replacement for your existing Foxtel box. Hopefully someone here can clarify this. If not then maybe the DVBt forums or whirlpool.

fark off the p1 and get a p2 (which you should have got in the first place) and you will have one less box as well.

no question, so advice not meant to answer anything :)

dollars.

got the P1 for a very good price and couldn't get the P2 under 800.00 which was the budget.
