copying from lidic

Could anyone tell me how to convert files that are saved on my bw which were coppied from my lidic. I have wizfx on my computer and i am able to convert ts files using mpeg_stramclip, however when i try to convert files which were coppied from my lidic it reads unsuported file error ?? My aim is to try to copy it to dvd. Help required

Hi Vinny - I suggest you have a look at the LiDiC post "what do you do with the files"

I raised this issue some time back. As far as I can see from the various comments there is still no real solution to getting a decent file off the LiDiC that you can do something with. All the H.264 converters (except MediaCoder) I've tried can't read the LiDiC files properly. Media Coder is the only one, but the quality is not real good. I get a much better result converting my old analogue tapes by other means now. After paying out $149, I have now given up on the LiDiC. I am very happy with my other Beyonwiz products (P1 & H1), but Beyonwiz let me down with the LiDiC.
