White Flooding

Post by tommy » Mon Mar 31, 2008 18:36

Hi I've experienced an issue with my LiDiC.

I have Austar connected to my LiDiC permanently and if leave my DP-P1 on for more than 6 hours it starts to flood the image with white, say for example I leave the DP-P1 and Austar boxes on overnight, if I watch Austar in the morning, The Simpsons for example, then the characters are all white instead of yellow.

Has anyone else experienced this issue?

Regards,
Tommy

Hi Tommy,

Welcome!

I get a sort of white crush all the time. The issue has been reported to Beyonwiz and we are awaiting a fix.

Regards,
Ian.

Yes I get this white crush as well when the LiDiC is connected to austar. It continues to get worse over time until you can't watch it any more. This and the wrong aspect ratio when recording austar is the reason why it is unplugged from my system at the moment. Hopefully there will be a fix for these two major bugs soon.
Thanks,
Duncan
