Remote keeps locking

My remote control has started locking when I advance 24 hours in the guide and try and set up a recording. The message says to exit the guide and it will unlock,but I can't dismiss as the remote won't respond. I have to turn it off and go back to square one. Any help appreciated.

Hi Alisonian,

What firmware version is your unit running? Are the remote control batteries healthy or are they getting flat?

Hi Alisonian,

In addition to Ian’s questions, the problem you are experiencing could be caused by the bug listed here: B3. EPG issues, as follows: (a) .
If you think this is the cause, then my 2nd last paragraph here may help. I also don’t use a lot of navigation in the EPG at any one time to prevent this issue occurring.

Seems like it must have been the batteries.
