AP-U1 remote not working

I cannot get my AP-U1 remote working. I think my kids have messed with the settings. I have a DP-S1 and cannot get the SAT setting to work at all. I have re-entered the code 2999 but no luck. None of the controls beep with that code on SAT but seem to be OK on other settings (eg. DVD). How do I reset to factory settings to get it to work with my DP-S1? Any suggestions?
