New TV Code PDF Document

Post by DaveR » Tue Oct 02, 2007 19:24

TV codes for brands from Acer to Zonda

Note: This document is exactly the same as the TV code list in the later version owner's manuals. It was only the original manuals that had an incomplete list.

A 12 page PDF document - which lists TV codes for most brands from Acer to Zonda - is now available as a separate download from the WizTV site.
http://www.wiztv.com.au/downloads.asp

Direct Download Link HERE - Note: The same TV codes are used by both the BR-02 remote control used by the DP-P2 and the BR-01 remote control used by all other models.

Or you can also download it from my website here:
http://www.pvr-tools.com/docs/Beyonwiz/ ... eForTV.pdf

That will be good.

My Philips was not on their first list - in fact I don't think any Philips models were. Auto scan mode found it though.

Hey Dave, do you have a complete list of Pioneer codes. Although I found one that turns off the TV it doesn't change the input source.

Tevion/Medion codes

Post by Penrith » Sun Jun 13, 2010 10:31

Hey Dave,

I have a Tevion (Medion) MD41427 LCD TV - I bought it in December 2004. I downloaded the remote codes from the Beyonwiz website but none of them operate the TV. Do you have any suggestions for other codes that might work?

cheers,
Michael.

Soniq

Post by nicko » Sat Jun 19, 2010 15:03

Hi Dave,

I recently purchased a DP-Lite (which is awesome)
I have a Soniq LCD. No Soniq remote codes are listed in the 12 page PDF, and I can't find it manually.
Any ideas?

Thanks,
Nick

Hi Dave,

Your Direct Download Link, in the first post of this thread, is incorrect. It should be http://www.wiztv.com.au/contentpics/dow ... eForTV.pdf

Ian.

The wiztv site is completely wrong! The DP-P2 uses the BR-02 remote. So that BR-01 document should be listed under all the other models... but not listed for the P2.

The WizTV Web site is out to lunch. I just checked it again, and it's still out to lunch.

Dave? has rearranged his web site a bit and it looks like he hasn't updated the direct link to the copy of the codes on his personal Web site (or the link in his toppy-tools Beyonwiz page) to reflect the new URLs.

Try: http://www.ourbackyard.net/toppytools/p ... eForTV.pdf

There are Toshiba codes for the remotes are there, but you'll just have to run through them; the code listing isn't model-specific.

Thanks for the reply.

I have run through all the Toshiba codes I could find, but none seemed to work. The Toshiba is an older rear projection 4:3

I was

1) Hold TV button down, and key in 3 digit code
2) keep holding TV
3) will flash between STB and TV then TV stays on.

After this tried press power, but no avail.

I was able to get it working on a Hitachi TV however.

Remote is BR-02

If you got it to work with the Hitachi, you're probably following the right procedure. I only ever got this half-working with our Sony TV and even with the best match code for the TV, not all that many features worked. It's quite possible that the remote doesn't have a code set that works with your TV.

I've also tried the Beyonwiz AP-U1 6-way universal, and I didn't think much of that, either.

I then got a Harmony 785 activity-based universal remote, and never looked back.

Hi,

While WizTV server is off-line the inaccessible document is also going to be added to the Beyonwiz Australia web server. It is *hoped* that it will be added this afternoon.

Ian.

I have looked around the forum and haven't seen it anywhere - has anyone got any codes for Hisense TV?

There's a link to it at the top of this very page. It doesn't have an entry for Hisense, though.

Welcome.

It is expected that people will read, search and look at existing posts before asking questions. We are all users and volunteers so it becomes very frustrating for us when that doesn't happen.

The link in the two posts above yours and at the top of the page are all working as it clearly says in those two posts. Please use it.
Cheers

The links that Gully refers to work. The list of codes for the Beyonwiz can be downloaded from the link in my post. That list doesn't contain codes for Soniq TVs, but there's nothing that anyone on the forum can do to change that.
