Replacement remote control doesn’t work

I have a U4 and the original remote control (BR-01) started getting sticky buttons.

I bought a replacement remote - not the same, as they are out of stock, but the other remote which was available says it’s compatible with U4 as well as many other models. (BR-T3)

New batteries in it, the STB button lights up when buttons are pressed - but nothing happens on the U4.

Is there a way to get a new remote to start speaking to my U4?

The original remote info in ‘remote control code settings’ is Beyonwiz U4 (0xAE97)

Use the U4 remote to go into Setup>>System>>Remote control code settings, and change the remote to the T3 remote.
Alternatively, use OpenWebif to do the same (if your Wiz is networked).
