U4 died
Re: U4 died
Have you considered sending your U4 to NASA Electronics for fixing.
See the end of this thread for what happened to mine.

Re: U4 died
That is my next intention. I am letting the U4 sit unplugged overnight, just in case it re-sets any parameters (that has worked with an old DVD player), if not I will contact NASA Electronics. I am so disappointed I missed out on the V2 though.
Thank you for your fine report on NASA, gives me confidence. I have been dreading the Beyonwiz finally dying with no comparable replacement for my requirements.

Re: U4 died
Yes NASA did a fine job & were very efficient to deal with.
Re: U4 died
Nasa did an excellent job repairing my U4. I have always been very pleased by the service given by Nasa and his team.
Enjoying an active retirement "playing" with my Toppys and now Beyonwiz.

Re: U4 died
I posted the U4 on Wednesday midday, from Melbourne to Nasa. Thursday midday they emailed with the diagnosis (including a photo of the dust build-up within). Today, Friday I received it back, repaired, cleaned, with a test recording of Bellbird.
Quite marvellous service. If only I could get a V2,
