I cant buy a beyonwiz!

Post by vku » Mon Nov 22, 2021 13:42

After my T4 failed and took my TV I decided to buy a new beyonwiz. Called, emailed & nothing.

Great product and great helpful forum BUT......

no point in buying when nobody is interested in taking my card details or confirming a delivery timeline

such a shame

Did you try just ordering one on the website? I checked back, and I ordered mine online in the wee small hours of 24/10/19. Later that day in business hours, I had received a confirmation email, and by 1/11/19 it had arrived here in Perth and was up and running. Couldn't complain about that at all. :D

DUH - that was 2 YEARS AGO - things have changed pretty dramatically since then, like there has been a pandemic !!!

Wow!! No need to shout at me! I was merely suggesting that seeing as how vku was not getting anywhere by calling and emailing at the moment, if he definitely wanted to purchase, he might have more success by just ordering one! Sorry that you took exception to that!

I am fully aware that my purchase was pre-Covid, but thanks for the reminder!!

I purchased a Humax on kogan last night, its either nobody wants a pvr and nobody sells them anymore or TV marketing has paid some polly off to force companies like this out of the market, either way its a bit sh*t :-(

It's a small market. Panasonic still sells PVRs: https://www.panasonic.com/au/consumer/h ... rders.html.

I'm not sure why you think that anyone's been paid off. FreeView was a pretty open attempt to try to make PVRs unattractive.

Agree. Yeh, I placed an order on the website for a V2 on 3/10/21 (which was a Sunday), and received a confirmation a couple of days later. On 13/10/21 I received an email from Jai (shop@beyonwiz.com.au) apologising for the delay and explaining that Aus POst were not picking up orders in a timely fashion. I was aware of the shipping logjam and had not even enquired as to where the order was. Received the V2 on 21/10/21.

During the same rough period I had ordered a box of wine that would normally take 4-7 days to reach me and it took more than 3 weeks.

Directly go to their website and order then you will definitely find your order in couple of days as it takes 14 to 15 days for delivery.

Well I just bought a Beyonwiz after my Topfield died after 11 years (tuner started to fail - DVB-T reception started to drop out increasingly frequently).

I ordered it online on 2 May and it was delivered on 10 May!

So yes, Beyonwiz are still in business and you can still buy their PVRs.

Nobody is home at Beyonwiz. I have a new V2 which was faulty from day one. Despite repeated attempts to contact them by phone and email, I have not heard back.
