EPG button option to close epg

Epg option to close on EPG button click instead of going to the list would be nice.

Same thing for the media button would be useful as well.

I just press Exit to close either the EPG or media.

It is much better to just hit the same button twice to open and close. That is how it worked on the toppy so I have been doing it for 17 years (with a “one for all” remote mostly… programmed with a jp1.2/3 cable). I keep hitting it twice by mistake, I will got used to it but media and epg are far away from exit on the universal remote, so it would be a very useful feature to add.

These sorts of button sequences (including the INFO button) have been requested numerous times before.

The general consensus is that it just didn't work well with the way the enigma2 software operates, so this request has never been addressed.

There are many aspects of the Topfield UI that users miss, but it is generally easier just to assist your usage patterns. Even the old Beyonwiz DP series users had to go through an adjustment period when the T series first came in.
