Beyonwiz Forum Logo

Post by gibster » Thu Jul 11, 2019 18:29

Hi.

Any chance we can get a Beyonwiz logo made for tabs on our browsers that looks like the circular blue surrounded by a chrome ring?

I like having my pinned tabs show a site logo in my browser.

Thought I'd throw that out there. I just get the default Chrome browser symbol now for this site. I seem to remember at some point in time in the past that it had a lower case b or something in the tab. That's not like that now.

Thanks

IIRC there used to be one that worked for me on Firefox. It disappeared, I think, when there was an upgrade to the forum software some time ago. I posted about it at the time and I was told that other browsers displayed the site icon in their tabs.

I get site icons for lots of other sites in Firefox, though, oddly, the Ice icon for the IceTV pages, but not for the IceTV forum.

The Page Info popup in Firefox shows several image files that look like they should be tab images, but for some reason they're not displayed.

Safari (at least in its default configuration) doesn't seem to display them at all, even for sites that show the icons in Firefox.

I don't have any other browsers installed.

In both Chrome and Firefox, the Beyonwiz 'shop' page displays the "lower-case b in blue-box" icon.

I'm pretty sure that's what I used to get too. But about 2 weeks ago it went away. Maybe when I cleared the cache in the browser while I was trying to find out what was causing pages to load so slowly sometimes.

I've got about a dozen pinned sites and all except Beyonwiz show personalized icons.
