Timers can be set from the IceTV website. Peteru is saying that timers set from the IceTV website (ie. IceTV timers) have no padding. Timers set on the T3, either manual or via Autotimers WILL have padding. It doesn't matter which guide you are using, EPG or IceTV. It matters WHERE you set the time...

I used to delete the channels I don't want, but now I agree with Peter. Just use the favorites (sic) option so you only see the channels you want. Having to delete the 'extra' channels every time you perform a service scan pays them more due than they are worth - even if it initially gives you a nic...

There is no protection on the analog outputs - apart from the deterioration incurred in analog recording. You should be able to record from the red/white/yellow outputs of the Austar box to the corresponding P2 inputs.
