Re: Why no TV service?
Could it be the TV antennae cable? Could be. How's it cabled? Antenna wall port straight to T4? Or via a splitter - antenna wall port to splitter, splitter to both TV and T4? If the former, does the new TV get an FTA signal if you move the antenna cable over to it? If the latter, does the new TV ge...

Re: V2 locks up and misses recordings
Will this work? - send all recordings directly from the T4 to the V2 (via USB and a USB hub) to the V2 Hard Disc. Then use the V2 for all playback. You can "mount" the T4's "Movie" share on the V2. Then to play the T4's recordings through the V2 to the TV, open the media selecti...

I think it ran out of memory (or some other resource) when it started to timeshift.
It's been running 60 days without a reboot - that may have had an impact if there's some sort of memory leak.

Re: Request for updates for channel picons
MD posted there that Daniel Hall was on holidays, but was a but vague about when he'd be back. I don't think it was that vague. On 4-Jul he posted: "... Dan will be away until the end of the week, so unless it's urgent he will catch up on his return." 4-Jul was a Monday, thus Daniel Hall ...

…for a t2 single tuner, but that future proofing costs $90. You want a tuner with the RTL2832U (demodulator) & R820T2 (tuner) chipsets. I've written about it plenty of times on here. No R828D tuner. No FC0012 tuner. Apparently the R820T2 is replaced by the R860 and is identical (except for name...

Too complicated? Here's something simpler - disable the EPGRefresh plugin; it will no longer automatically run on its schedule. Watch live TV or a recording at 17:30 tomorrow - does the issue still happen? If yes, check the timers list and see if there's a zap timer running, set for 17:30 the curren...
