Re: Can a T4 record from VCR?
The T4 (and U4) can only record from HDMI. If your VCR doesn't have HDMI output (which is likely to be the case), the T4 can't record from it, unless you find a converter from your VCR's A/V output (likely to be composite video or S-Video, and analog audio) to HDMI.

There are three ways to view recordings from the Beyonwiz on a TV that doesn't have a HDMI or other A/V connection to the Beyonwiz: Copy the recording data file (the one with the .ts extension) onto portable media connected to the Beyonwiz's USB port, unmount it, and connect it to the TV's USB port ...

Those logs don't have all the information that's in the timer log. The size of the debug logs you were looking at will grow with how long the Beyonwiz was running before it was restarted. I'm not sure why you can't use OpenWebif to connect to the Beyonwiz, because networking to it is obviously worki...

Have you tried doing fsck -n /dev/sdc1 to see whether fsck recognises the filesystem? As you probably know, the -n flag answers "no" to any question about whether fsck should try to change the HDD. If it's an ext4 filesystem, and the problem is that the filesystem superblock has been clobb...

The problem is that the HDD is being detected by the system, but its filesystem type can't be determined. That means that the HDD's filesystem may only be able to be recovered by running the filesystem check manually from the V2's command-line interface. The crash is caused because the code doesn't ...

Normal timers simply record at the tiems they have been set for. They aren't updated by changes to the EPG.

But once the AutoTimer has been deleted, if there are any timers it created left in the timer list, the easiest option is to delete them there.
