What do you want to know about it? Dolby Downmixing is a process where Dolby 5.1 sound is downmixed to stereo. Disabling it means that the original 5.1 audio is delivered.

Re: Can I Disable Transcode / Stream
OK, but what is the streaming protocol between the Beyonwiz and the TV? If it's DLNA, then closing down the T4's DLNA server will prevent access from the TV. Have you tried it? Just stopping the DLNA server should be enough for you to check whether it's effective.

You can disable the DLNA streaming server on the T4, if that's what your TV is using. In MENU>Setup>Network>DLNA Server, press RED Remove Service. That will remove the DLNA service from the T4. It canm be reinstalled again by going to MENU>Setup>Network>DLNA Server and reinstalling it. If that's two...

You should be able to navigate into the My Passport for Mac folder and then to the destination folder you want to use when you're asked to "Choose copy [or move] directory" when you do a Copy or Move.

Re: Speed has dropped and not sure why
This is where an Ethernet cable tester makes the job a lot easier. My managed switch can do simple cable tests by itself, though when I had the connection problem, its estimate of where the fault was was way out – the distance said that it was a far-end fault, but it was actually a near-end fault.

Re: Speed has dropped and not sure why
Perhaps the cable with the broken clip has twisted one of the Ethernet socket pins so it now isn’t making proper contact with the patch lead. You may need to have a close look with a magnifying glass or something similar. This sort of thing can cause a drop in Ethernet line connection speed from 1G...
