Re: Request for updates for channel picons
I have committed the new changes to the picon setup to the Beyonwiz picon repository. It includes: Switching the picon for 10Shake to nickelodeon, to follow the content change in the channel. Adding the picon for gecko in Tasmania and in the regions in Vic, NSW, ACT & Qld where Ten is carried by...

Re: Request for updates for channel picons
Thanks, blip.
The serviceref you posted confirms that I've probably got the changes correct for gecko in the areas served by SOuthern Cross.
Unfortunately, I just committed my changes to the main repository, but I'll do another commit to include your new scan data.

The first three screenshots have nothing to do with your ability to use OpenWebif to allow your PC to access the Beyonwix.
There shouldn't be any need to change the default configuration of OpenWebif (5th screenshot) in order to use it.

To get the serviceref for a channel, you need to change channel to the channel (gecko in this case) first, then get MENU>Information>Service>Service reference. Re: Speed has dropped and not sure why
The information given is less than precise, so I'd be inclined to take the details with a grain of salt. And slow to come. I asked for information about the port speeds as shown in the network device back in May. I'm fairly confident that the speed was never at 10GB/s. That would imply a connection...

No, I have not done it myself at any stage, unless the repair shop did. OK, then when you restored the settings (if you did restore them, I'm now not sure from your posts whether you did in fact restore them), the restored settings would have "restored" the remote code set to its original...

What is concerning is the manual refers to DSL. Is this correct . I would have thought it would be talking about fiber optics. The Technicolour TGT789agv is a modem/router. It uses both the modem part and the router part when connected to a VDSL (or ADSL) line. The DSL connection plugs into the gre...

10 GB/S. Do you mean 10MB/s? I doubt that your home network can support 10GB/s. Anyway, I agree that that most likely rules out the U4 as the source of the problem. Here is a whacky theory. Are the two Wiz units in the same location? When that setting is on, what are its effects? The mounted network share effectively becomes the PVR's HDD, or replaces it, if it has a HDD. But timers aren't stored on the HDD, whether it's a real HDD or a network share that's been mounted as the HDD. But it means that if PVR A mounts PVR B's HDD ...
