Re: T4 not faring well....
I have a refurb BB T4 and it seems to randomly have HDMI output problems too. When the problem starts, I give up on it and use composite (could probably use component but I really only use the BB for mucking about at the moment, it was easy to run the one extra cable to the tv). I had a constant rebooting gui after installing a few plugin/extensions day 2 of box ownership, I didn't use opkg to remove, I found the extensions in the filesystem (can't remember which folder) and ls -alrt shows in time modified order where you can then find original vs recently installed, and rm...

That is good news! I was disappointed to find out my Yammie wouldn't pass 3D through it. I can set the BR player to downscale audio to SPDIF/optical to at least get sound & directly connect BR to TV, but it is a pain I have a 7.1 amp that I can't use for 3D. Same with ARC now, it is nice to have...

Tuners all draw a bit of signal out of antenna, the more splitters and tuners connected, the less signal goes into each tuner. Re: Recordings on 9HD via IceTV show as GEM on Timers list
Delete the old channels from the wiz and see how you go (so delete GEM, not 9GEM). I had a bunch of duplicates doing a manual scan on the Nein frequency (Didn't have clear channels check box ticked as I figured that would likely purge all channels which I didn't want). Possibly purge all Nine relate...

You have to delete more than just the Ten, also One, 11 and whatever other channels Ten had in the multiplex. Then scan the good frequency only, and you will get your epg.

I guess you have the latest 04 November firmware, where the ICETV plugin was not installed by default. You need to go to plugins and dig around there and find/download & install it (can all be done from GUI). Then you should see the ICETV option in the 1st or 2nd menu column once installed (not ...

Where the source file has 5.1 Dolby Digital, all audio channels are now passed thro by the Wiz to the amp correctly as 6 separate channels without being downmixed to stereo. Both 20052.
I checked the two about pages previously and they were the same, I forgot the front panel version was in there.
I tried the panel f/w upgrade plug in and the only download avail through the plug-in is the same version 20052.
So, what is the default status of that LED in deep standby?

Also, based on Star6ky's report, it sounds like it is not only an audio format change that triggers this issue.
