Has anyone spotted what logo Ten will be using for the rebranded channel?

Re: Speed has dropped and not sure why
10 GB/S. Do you mean 10MB/s? I doubt that your home network can support 10GB/s. Anyway, I agree that that most likely rules out the U4 as the source of the problem. Are there any settings in modem that could affect this. There might be. There certainly are on the router/modem I use (Fritz!Box 7590)...

Re: Linking to a T2 from a V2
Here is a whacky theory. Are the two Wiz units in the same location? If so, I suspect that the T2 is set to respond to all remote control code sets, and when you set a timer on the V2, the T2 is following the same keystrokes and setting its own timer for whatever show it happened to be pointing to ...

Re: Linking to a T2 from a V2
When that setting is on, what are its effects? The mounted network share effectively becomes the PVR's HDD, or replaces it, if it has a HDD. But timers aren't stored on the HDD, whether it's a real HDD or a network share that's been mounted as the HDD. But it means that if PVR A mounts PVR B's HDD ...

You've done nothing wrong other than being using the V2 at the time that you've asked it to automatically reboot. You presumably don't want it to just reboot while you're using it, do you? What do you want to know about it? Dolby Downmixing is a process where Dolby 5.1 sound is downmixed to stereo. Disabling it means that the original 5.1 audio is delivered.

OK, but what is the streaming protocol between the Beyonwiz and the TV? If it's DLNA, then closing down the T4's DLNA server will prevent access from the TV. Have you tried it? Just stopping the DLNA server should be enough for you to check whether it's effective.

It canm be reinstalled again by going to MENU>Setup>Network>DLNA Server and reinstalling it. If that's two...

Re: Speed has dropped and not sure why
This is where an Ethernet cable tester makes the job a lot easier. My managed switch can do simple cable tests by itself, though when I had the connection problem, its estimate of where the fault was was way out – the distance said that it was a far-end fault, but it was actually a near-end fault.

Perhaps the cable with the broken clip has twisted one of the Ethernet socket pins so it now isn’t making proper contact with the patch lead.
