Yes, but a TV show that starts at 11pm local during DST starts at 11pm local after DST for example (if in the same timeslot every week) in which case the UTC start time of the show changes by an hour, meaning the system that determines the EPG, despite the EPG being broadcast in UTC, has to be DST a...

i did a bit more testing to confirm all of the settings Litei settings and results Most of us have given up on using HDMI for audio as you will get the kind of results you are seeing here. Put the PVR to 7HD or OneHD, and power it down, then power it back up again with the amp and tv ready to accep...

Now that I think about it, I'm wondering if the lack of an active recording indicator bar (in the instant record popup window for the case of disabled time-shift) is a bug in itself. The bar is there for a very good reason (when timeshifting)... you can rewind in the buffer and choose to record fro...

Are they recording timers, or view timers? View timers won't leave a file behind, they are purely to put the PVR onto a particular channel at particular time, for, say, recording it with an external DVD/VCR (I guess). But they behave the same way as a real timer in terms of how they appear in the li...

He said the adverts are fine though, just the show is shaking. I have had the same on Ten too, they now use some very dodgy encoding to turn US sourced NTSC material into PAL (well, 50Hz digital), and it jerks like crazy (not smooth, they aren't doing pulldown/speedup it seems, just drop frame? Who ...

The default audio track for DVDs I believe is: 189 (0xBD)-128 (0x80) . The important bit being 0x80. Your earlier mediainfo had it on quite a different PID. I am speculating that with incorrect table information not pointing to the correct PID number will mean the Wiz will just not bother to play au...

Tony, maybe my terminology is not quite right. Your terminology was ok, just the context of it wasn't quite. I thought when you mentioned USB modem that you wanted to use that directly on your Wiz, it wasn't entirely clear till I googled that model you referenced that it wasn't a USB modem at all b...

The Wiz only supports mass storage connections via the USB, not ethernet/wifi items. You need to get a wireless bridge or bog stock LAN cable to connect via the LAN port if you want to use a network connection (why do you want to connect your wiz directly to the internet anyway, this is a recipe for...

I'd be happy to give it a try, but do you have instructions how to do it for a Unix rather than PC machine? If by using WizMac we can communicate to DP-P2 and other devices, why isn't the reverse possible? For example, does anyone know how to write a Beyonwiz protocol server to run on the MAC?
