Or rec, choose duration, and accept. If you want to record what is in the timeshift buffer also, change the option from live to all. But as was said a quick recx2 will do 70 mins without fiddling with the menu.

Someone has fiddled with your amp settings and disabled the surround sound processing (used for stereo sources). There is no issue with the wiz setup (unless you set the wiz to the incorrect 5.1 option which maybe only the s1 has as an option).

5.1 is not the correct setting. This will send only L&R for those networks that send stereo audio (most!). Passthrough is your correct setting, but ensure to set the Wiz to full volume (or about 4 notches below full) so that the MPEG audio channels (all SD ones) are at a similar volume to the AC...

If you are transferring files via the wiz gui, press power and it will switch off after it has completed. Same as if it is recording, you can press power and it will switch off after finished.your rewind concept is obviously not relevant for a pvr.
