Hi MrQuade,
I haven't checked with Prl recently but I believe that he is still able to run OpenViX firmware without issue. As I said earlier, the Beyonwiz V2 was taken away from me before I could do much testing.

Hi NoDeity, Interesting.! Which one would you recommend, I say that having had a look at the three brands and only OpenATV actually says Beyonwiz V2 in their downloads. Hi,
The Beyonwiz firmware was more closely aligned with the OpenViX firmware. OpenATV is also derived from OpenViX. Both of these were derived from OpenPLi. OpenPLi came out of the original Dream product.

Hi Prl, I have no role in major upstream merges. With all due respect the efforts you make with OpenATV and other Enigma2 images, either directly or indirectly, help reduce the merge differences and difficulties. You don't need to press the button on image merges to help make them happen. :) Regards...

Hi Paul, Beyonwiz no longer designs and manufactures its own devices. They choose from existing designs and have them manufactured to suit Australian needs. Hi Prl,
I was indicating more than just the code. Perhaps the list of available packages can also be expanded. In support of your post it would also appear that the Beyonwiz build system may need to be corrected so that the correct list of packages is appropriately built.

Hi Zabar,
I have no updates. The last I heard from the Seven Network was that the equipment provider didn't want to regress to older codecs. Beyonwiz appears to be unable or unwilling to update the drivers in the older boxes.
You will probably need to look at a newer PVR.
