I haven't checked with Prl recently but I believe that he is still able to run OpenViX firmware without issue. As I said earlier, the Beyonwiz V2 was taken away from me before I could do much testing.

Hi,

The Beyonwiz firmware was more closely aligned with the OpenViX firmware. OpenATV is also derived from OpenViX. Both of these were derived from OpenPLi. OpenPLi came out of the original Dream product.

With all due respect the efforts you make with OpenATV and other Enigma2 images, either directly or indirectly, help reduce the merge differences and difficulties. The Beyonwiz firmware is full of holes and missing code due to merge issues and inconsistencies. Beyonwiz is now very far behind the OpenViX firmware upon which it is based. The firmware is long overdue for an upstream merge.

Hi Prl, You need to enter/exit the menu. With the setting other than "No": FAV to bring up the channel list, again to show the bouquets, MENU to show the menu, EXIT back to the list, and now the bouquet list is displayed incorrectly - press FAV/BLUE again to restore. OK, I can replicate it...

The new 7mateHD is running in Melbourne. There have been no parameter changes since I last posted. OpenViX has the new picon. :)

The EPG is currently not available for the new channel but I assume that should be sorted out soon.

The "7mateHD Melbourne" name started today in Melbourne. The only change from "7food network" appears to be the name. All other service parameters are the same - so far.

At the moment the channel has a static image with no sound.

I have no updates. The last I heard from the Seven Network was that the equipment provider didn't want to regress to older codecs. Beyonwiz appears to be unable or unwilling to update the drivers in the older boxes.

You will probably need to look at a newer PVR.
