Perhaps make a note of the button presses required to restore your image.

i.e. STOP, EXIT, EXIT (to get back to just the TV being on)
Then MENU
Then DOWN, ACROSS, OK
Then 3x Down and OK.

Yes I was suspicious that the tech may have simply assigned the PowerOn and PowerOff entries and either or both could simply be a remapped PowerToggle. Causing more confusion than Power Toggle alone.
