Re: Problems since SSD disk upgrade?
I can only assume that the V2 processor is not able to keep up with the data stream when recording. It cannot be a transmission fault as this glitch does not appear if the same program is recorded on my T4. The V2 has more, and faster (4 x 1600MHz), CPUs than the T4 (2 x 1300MHz). There may be hard...

Re: EPG Favourites Default Not "Sticking"
After going to standby and switching on again, does the PVR also always go to showing the same channel as well as returning to the Terrestrial TV LCN bouquet, instead of staying on the channel you were previously viewing? If so, you may have set that channel (the one that it returns to) as being the...

there is a USB dongle which I assume is the USB tuner? Yes, that's a USB tuner. You can check which tuner a recording was made on by looking at the logs in the timer that created it or by using the recording's tags. The simplest way to check is to use the recording tags. Do a long-YELLOW while you'...

It sounds like it might be differences in tuner performance. Are you using a USB tuner as well as the built-in tuners?

In the meantime somebody pointed out that their Beyonwiz required a replacement power capacitor. These 4TB WD NAS drives are 4 inches wide, 5 1/4 inches deep and just under 1 inch thick. WD40EFRX. 3.5" HDD drives are in a 4" wide housing. I suspect the 3.5" size refers to the platter diameter, but I haven't been able to confirm that. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_disk_dr...

It sounds like a hardware problem, possibly one of the on-board voltage regulators. Resetting to factory defaults doesn't affe...

Ext4 filesystems are journalling filesystems, with journals for both structural information and data. NTFS, by comparison, only has journalling for file system metadata (and is not well supported on Beyonwizes). Ext4 is also a newer (2006) filesystem format than NTFS (1993). No real point updating to the V2 then do you think? They can't be bought new, either. not sure why the TV (Hisense) works unless it has a better tuner than the BW and Topfield. There's no particular reason why it can't have a better tuner. I did some research, and it seems Brisbane TV is both UHF and VHF. Well, yes and no. Brisbane Mt Coot-tha digital TV is all VHF, and they're the transmitters your U4 is tuned to, though you've got the scaling of the frequencies wrong. Ch 11 (Ten) is 219500 KHz (219.5 MHz), not 219500 MHz (219.5 GHz...
