Re: Collectible STB & PVR hardware available
I’d like another box to run OpenaTV as one of mine has become a bit temperamental. Not fussed on what flavour of box. Happy to collect.

Check out p.15 of the manual for the TV (https://www.manualslib.com/products/Tcl ... 94146.html). There is a setting under “Picture” to turn the Overscan on or off.

Thanks prl, you got it right. I found the info just before reading your reply. In settings I found it listed as an ITE Technologies product , which led me to the chips. Openatv has appropriate driver plugins.

Re: USB Tuner
Does anyone know the chipset of the beyonwiz mini usb tuner? Not a bluey or a blackie, more like a blacke sugarcube with “beyonwiz” on it, such as https://demo.beyonwiz.com.au/product/us ... t2-and-t3/. I’m looking for a driver (ipk) to run it in openatv.

Is the plugin feed offline now? I'm wanting to install epgrefresh but I can't get my T2 to bring up a list of available plugins.

Re: Firmware 19.3_20211010 update discussion
I normally use Amber skin but I just tried Confluence and Estuary, and still couldn't see the subfolders. I told the developer I had a Beyonwiz T2, and described the firmware as "bespoke" (it makes it sound fancy, doesn't it?). I also mentioned that OpenATV had been ported to run on it, to...

Re: Firmware 19.3_20211010 update discussion
Just so I am clear. You are able to see recordings, just not ones stored in sub-folders? Correct. In kodi, going to Settings -> System Info -> PVR Service, it shows “Recordings: 238”. But on the T2 in List it shows 238 recordings plus 51 subfolders (with many more recordings). I am bemused that you...

NextPVR Add On doesn't work for me, not sure why. I can get into the subfolders as a network source, and I can live with the messy file names. But it is very slow loading, to the point of being useless for me (and I am a reasonably patient person ).

Yes, you’re right. About in OpenWebif says 1.4.9 - I missed that. I was looking at Packages in OpenWebif, which has four packages, all 1.4.6. So it seems that I need something more recent (1.5.2?).

Is there any way to update the OpenWebif version? Currently on version 1.4.6, but I would like a more recent version to enable access to recordings sub-folders on my kodi boxes (using the Enigma2 plug-in). This isn't a life-changing issue for me, it would just be nice.

T2 crash
My T2 crashed last night. I was watching a previously recorded show and there was a recording in progress.
Crash log attached. I'm running firmware 19.3.20210804.
The T2 rebooted itself and is running OK now, but I am wondering what caused the crash.

Thanks GG. I had seen that thread but it didn't seem to match what I was seeing on the screen, ie: if I have set the wiz to not do a background check, why would it say it was busy checking? Anyway, I'll wait until the feed is back on line and see if the situation changes.

Re: iOS app can't see folders
Try 8player. You can navigate to sub-folders and play a variety of files, including ts and mpg files. I'm sure there are others.
Note it doesn't do live TV or the epg - it is for playing saved media files.

Thanks in advance,
