I can confirm that re-flashing the firmware fixed the problem. Because I already had it ready on a USB stick I stayed with 16.1 for the moment so could keep all my settings.

I have downloaded 19.3 and will get around to doing that when I have time.

Why? p60 will always work. p50 will break for anything that is not already 25 or 50, either p or i. All HDMI input will be transcoded to 720p60 when recording. To ensure smooth playback of those recordings, you should have autoresolution on so that the TV output is switched to the appropriate mode on playback. The frame rate is an upper limit. So the feature has now been enhanced to support UP TO 720p60. If your IQ is outputting 1080i50, then the Wiz will adjust the recording framerate accordingly.
