Is there a newer public Firmware than 19.3??
I was getting ready to turn off the TV tonight when the T4 alerted me there was an online update available. I'm already running 19.3 211010.... as soon as it got to the dialogue to proceed backup or cancel, I cancelled and headed here to check on the latest info, but I can't see anything on the foru...

Re: Any unwanted V2's for sale?
Thanks all for the suggestions, I've PM'd Paul to accept his offer of the T3 - while sourcing a custom solution might be interesting, it needs to be an interface my God-daughter is familiar with and one I can support remotely. I did wonder what the Humax boxes were like but much prefer a BW when I c...

Any unwanted V2's for sale?
I am posting in the hopes that someone on the forum may have a V2 they want to get rid of. My God-daughter has moved into a unit and I'd like to sort out a decent PVR for her. I've been trying to contact Beyonwiz shop a number of ways (& recently PM'd WizHQ) to ask about the likelihood of the V2...

Re: 2 x T4s with Tuner issues
I've added some progress pictures of the mod to show the board was in OK shape... I've since attached the heasinks, not shown here - Temps are around 38Deg C for 1.25V reg, 44deg C for 3.3V reg, both inboard regs about 1 deg higher than the outboard ones. I should also note that while Tuner C isn't ...

Re: 2 x T4s with Tuner issues
Over the weekend I managed to do the TO-220 conversion on the main T4...... and it now looks like I only have a T3, not a T4 (due to a possibly dead tuner). Re: 2 x T4s with Tuner issues
When I looked ta the About page, it was v19.3 I think the date on the release was 20191106
It was the one downloaded from the Beyonwiz web page.
I'll have a look at registering for the beta updates for the V2, it mightn't be until next weekend as work is pretty hectic during the week.

Yes, it's a weird one... Given that the non-4K input works and the 4K input has issues, it seems as if it's the Yamaha that's having the effect on the handshaking, as I think I noticed at one stage it wasn't just the T4 struggling to connect - I think the Xbox One X also glitched at some point, just...

Have you definitely forced the Oppo to output stereo pcm only? Even just a moment will potentially lock up the T4 audio again....

It's unlikely there is anything wrong with your hardware, you just have an unsupported HDMI-IN audio format that causes the DSP firmware in the T4 SoC to lock up / crash. The only way to recover from that DSP firmware lock up / crash is a full reboot, although a power cycle is even better. Just swi...

Some further info - You most likely just need to set your downmix options back to what they were originally and then full reboot the T4.
