Re: T4 will not complete reboot
As a last resort I got some Lexar USB 2.0 S50 from my local Woolies but still no joy.
So the T$ will be on the way to NASA electronics tomorrow.

Re: T4 will not complete reboot
I looked for " Lexar USB 2.0 S50" from Woolies." but theynow sell the S60 and not S50
Any difference?
I ca't find a source for the S50 model near me in Melbourne.
I can buy on eBay but prefer not to wait a week or more for delivery

The USB was FAT32 formatted.
I'm not sure about USB1. compatibility so I'll re-try with a much older USB.

Re: T4 will not complete reboot
Unfortunately that fix did not work. When I inserted the USB with the latest firmware and turned on the power, the usual blue image appeared on the TV. On the T4's own screen it said: "Booting Beyonwiz T4 2015-06-15" (was 2015-06-15 date of manufacture?). There was no advice to press the u...

T4 will not complete reboot
Recently, my T4 would not turn on from “sleep” mode using the remote. I turned the power off & then on again a few minutes later for it to reboot. It commenced “booting” but froze when the blue circular image appeared on the TV & did not progress beyond there. I have tried several times with...

Also, after I've used FAV, pressed blue & selected Terrestrial TVLCN & clicked OK, when I again press FAV, it opens "Last scanned" & not Terrestrial TVLCN

Re: Incorrect channel-to-guide matching
After I've done a full channel search, all the channels are already entered in my Terrestrial TVLCN folder so I don't understand "zap channels in that bouqute" and in it, the channel 2 is ABC. However, despite following your instructions, when I'm watching TV & change channels, e.g. pr...

Re: Incorrect channel-to-guide matching
I have a new T4 (replacement of my faulty 1st T4) and I have a different channel match problem.
After scanning channels, when I press button 2 on the remote, instead of opening ABC channel 2 it goes to SBS which in the past has always been channel 3.
how can I correct this?

DPS1-DVD tray will not open
I tried holding the eject button while turning on the unit but it would not start up. I then tried holding the eject button immediately after hitting the button to turn it on. Still no success. As far as I know the unit has not had the power supply refurbished - unless it was done when the HDD had t...

DPS1 - DVD tray will not open
I haven't played DVDs on my DPS1 for a while.
Today when I want to use it, the tray will not open despite the display showing "Tray Open". This happens both when I try with the remote & also when I use the buttons on the front of the device.
Is there sonmething I can do to correct this?

My Optus cable modem has four ethernet oulets as well as wireless facility which I use for my laptop. My modem is at the opposite end of the house to the DPS1 and has two desktops connected to it. DPS1 records some programs without being asked to
If I have a program set to record and I am watching the same channel ON DELAY (timeshift)prior to the start of recording, the earlier broadcast is saved and I end up with an unwanted recording with just the channel as its title. So over time I end up with numerous recordings I did not ask the DP S1 ...

Connecting DP-S1 to computer
What do I need to do to connect my DP S1 to my laptop? I have a wireless Optus cable modem which communicates with my new laptop. Do I need any other hardware, e.g. a router?
I would also like to know exactly what uses I could make of the wireless connection.
Many thanks

Recently my DPS1 has recorded quite a few programs without the record button being touched or a timer set for recording. Anyone else had this problem & what is the solution?

False "No signal detected" message
I think I have an antenna problem as my analogue has now packed up.
Almost certainly not a Beyonwiz problem at all. Seems that initially the digital signal was too weak & later the analogue deteriorated as well. I'll have my antenna checked out.

Only one video connection can be done at a time???
My DP-S1 is connected to my four-year-old Sharp LCD TV via component leads (no HDMI facility on the TV). I am purchasing a combo DVD/VCR recorder so I can copy programs saved on my DP-S1 to DVD (and also use the DVD/VCR recorder to copy VHS recordings to DVD). It is not convenient to use my computer...

Copying a movie saved on HDD to a VCR
Can someone give me a precise step-by-step guide as to how to copy a movie saved on my DPS1 HDD to a VCR? I tried connecting DPS1 to the AV2 input on my VCR but no sound or image resulted. The VCR only has RCA inputs. Is it possible to copy files this way?

No, I only downloaded 247 today. Why don't they send out bulk emails to let users know when updates are available???.
I've only had this error once. Hopefully it won't return once 247 is installed

Installing firmware
When installing the latest firmware upgrade for my DPS1 I got the message that proceeding would "terminate recordings".
1 Does this just mean it will stop anything that is currently recording? or
2 will it delete saved programs on the HDD? I hope not but just want to be 100% certain
