Okay, for some reason my shared "Media" folder wasn't set to "Everyone" in XP's share settings for "Groups or user names". It was just things like "Administrator", "Authenticated Users", etc. So I removed all the existing shared groups and user names...

You can always sort the music by size and that gives a random-like playback. :)
