yes it may well be the case that it is difficult to come up with a remedy but what do the other pvr companies do ie toppy sony etc. If it was not for the fact that i do get 9 brisbane i would not be happy with the 9 win situation,

i just cannot understand why it has taken so long the other pvrs worked okay i have friends who have taken back there bw just for the win issue as they are not fortunate to get 9 brisbane aswell and win does not always transmit on hdwin9 i see this as a priority in the next fw update

i know that this has been mentioned quite often but nothing has been done about it yet, but when are BW going to do something about the thick band top and bottom of WIN SD in Qld, i remember that someone was coming over to investigate has that happened yet and what or when will the problem be fixed ...

all you people who are saying that their ch 9 is fine are located in cities everyone who is having the bars issues is in regional australia where win is transmitted, everyone who is in regional oz and has win let us know if they have the issue

i agree the fault lies with BW in sd mode as win sunshine coast on my p1 looks squashed yet when i queried it with other stb at harvey norman it looks normal.. When is BW going to sort out issue??

the topfield definitely scrolled and it did not dim either, it only scolls on channels where the name is too long ie wintv sunshine coast high definition but when we rename (on wishlist) that may stop. As far as i know all stb's scroll

sata dvd drives are only about 20.00 more and surely adding the few components to the hardware offers some protection for future advancements in technology, why cant then BW put in larger hdd 200gb seems small when recording in hi def or for that matter storing shows

why is BW using IDE drives when sata drives are becoming more common, are faster and all the new HDD are now sata, it cannot because of the quietness as TOPFIELD have 250gb sata drives that you can upgrade yourself to 750gb. Whats going to happen when IDE becomes less common and we have a drive fail...

I am sure that you can use a wireless device connected to the network port which then can be networked through a wireless router to connect to the internet and pc and item such as a DLINK DWL 810G which you would use to make xbox wireless etc
