I'd say that your USB tuner loop cable is blocked and the T2 antenna out pretty must have a slightly deeper pin so that your are able to plug it in further. (I also note that your USB tuner does indeed look like it isn't flush with the bank of the V2 as well. Id still recommend using the USB extens...

its the IEC end. It's pretty much the same fit on the T2 also...has never really seemed like its connected properly though does fit a little better and holds better when its given a squeeze and I can manipulate the expansion slots on the outer.

Meh...spose it comes down to the fact that its an awesome very cheap set up for what I want to do and I'll just grab the V2 and the HD you have when I shop around next. I do read on some specs on certain websites that the Toshiba powers down when not being accessed.....

Ok....Iphone does not show infra red but on the neighbours Samsungs 7 & 8 both do. The old remote that works can see flashing IR but the new remote is dead. Annoys me though how it worked for 5 mins on set up and scanning and then just borked :roll: I'll ring CS in the morning. Thanks everyone.

Yes, it does sound as if the new one has suffered an issue. A shame your camera is not useful for troubleshooting in this instance though. You could try switching the remote control code sets to one of the alternates and then back to the default code set. It might kick the remote's controller back ...

No I don’t. I only have an iPhone camera to check. It obviously doesn’t show the IR. I'll hunt own a neighbour to see if they have one and let you all know later.

I’m serious when I say there are NO flashing IR lights when remote buttons are pressed regardless, on either non working or working. I have no idea what you are all seeing

Using iPhone 8...there’s no flashing IR round lights at all when any button is pressed. I’ve looked in pic and video mode also. It’s like the remote is fine but talking French and the beyonwiz is just ignoring commands because it only speaks English lol.

Was using easy skin and swapped and both are the same. Using the MEDIA button on the remote allows me to wrap/roll over the list. Using File commander doesnt. Was trying to make it easier for the husband so he just has to hit the MEDIA button to see his recordings while I stuck to the file commander...

Its all good now Gully...just worked out I have folders playing up due to a rename to get rid of spaces for the Beyonwiz set up. I hadnt changed the download path on my download client. I had to copy the downloads into the correct folder. They did show then disappeared. All fixed. Just one more anno...

On the DP-P2 if I had wanted to view a download that only finished a few minutes before from a network share, all I had to do was to back out of the folder where the download was and open again and it had 'refreshed' to show the new downloads. It was more "traffic only 1 way" which led to all the confusion.

Ok...a closer inspection of the back of the T2 where the ethernet cable goes in seems a little damaged...did a bit of wiggling side to side with the cable and yes its dodgy. All working though and easy to set up after all

Network scan is only showing the beyonwiz but no computer, so I suppose I'll start there. USER-PC has shown up in the network neighbourhood scan before but was flaky to say the least...sometimes there...mostly not, now not at all. Have checked and replaced all the ethernet cables.
