Simply cloning the settings won't work. Paul is correct about the need to clone the device at the IceTV end (very easy); not something I have had to do recently. Just checked and can confirm that there is nothing listed under Auto Timers

No hangs since I enabled logging (although the T2 has hung since reinstalling) - so the "patient" is under observation

It's most likely an operating system crash, and may be a hardware issue. If it is an OS crash, there may not be much of use in the debug logs, but it's worth having a look.
