Thanks Peter, I do use address reservation, so the IPs are effectively fixed. As part of the 19.3 upgrade I allowed them both to wipe everything and configured from scratch to ensure there was not something bogus carried over. Definitely the IPs matched. Two T2s Sharing Content?

I have two T2s and in the past they have happily shared each other's recordings. I had not done so in quite a while, but went to watch something on the alternate box and got the dreaded "Directory xyz does not exist". I upgraded to 19.3 but unfortunately no change. I am pretty confident th...

T2 Twitchy Remote Control

As the title suggests, the remote control on one of my T2s has become very twitchy, it's like one button press is seen as two. If I use the remote from the alternate T2 it's fine, and the problem carries over to the other machine. So I'm pretty confident it's an issue with the remote control itself....

Ah Beyonwiz I've missed you!

So I went through the early DP-S1 and DP-P2 devices, once having three of them running, but they were just not up to the their self-assigned task of being the complete media centre. Switched to Windows 7 Media Center, again three boxes all running reasonably smoothly, and handling every media task y...

All this sounds like a permissions issue. Remember that the user the T2 is authenticating as must have the required permissions on both the share point and the file/folder being acted on. I am connecting the T2 to a Win7 storage box with a samba share. The folder share permissions allow Full Control for Everyone. Other devices can delete files but the T2 does not. Turn off live TV when playing media?

Hi, I have strayed from the Beyonwiz fold but I am back again with the T2. Good to see many of the old Wizzers still around! I started out as a vocal critic of the DP-S1 and Beyonwiz in general. As the firmware developed, it proved itself as a stable and reliable device, so much so that I added two DP-P2s to the network and counted myself as a Wiz fanboi. As the world moved onto more modern and efficient codecs, the Wizze...

There are two shows on. One after the other, which I want to record. Stupidly it won't let me record them both with overlaps - even when there aren't any other recordings happening.
