Surveillance Hard Drives
The drive in my T4 seems to be getting a bit less reliable so have been looking for a replacement. I saw the RED NAS drives then noticed the Surveillance version with firmware optimised for for sequential read / write rather than random read / write. Any views on the suitability ? Re: General AC3 Delay
So given the audio sync delay settings seem to have no effect and can cause audio to drop completely on channel change is this something that can be fixed going forward ?
Is this something that just comes down from the main enigma2 code or local update ?

Not sure if it will change things but the latest public firmware is 17.5-20180417 Don't know why you would think yours in on the latest but it could be worth an upgrade though you will need to redo your settings from scratch. Also the latest beta release has been very stable so is worth considering...

Hi
Is there an easy way to rename a large # of recordings for the eg short file name format to “event name first”.
At the file level it would need to renam all the associated files for each recording ?

Do you have debug logging enabled and directed to the HDD? Was there a recording running at the time? Either of those will prevent the HDD from being unmounted. Hi
i wanted to run a Disk Check on my T4 but it comes up with an error telling me it can't unmount the drive.
Initially it told me it was due to time shift but after disabling and rebooting it still won't do the check.
Can anything else hold the drive
Ideas please.

I think it is possibly a bug though if you choose

You get WIN Canberra & WIN Canberra HD
The reverse delivers just WIN Canberra HD.

Hi Peter
on 1 July when the swap happens will we need to do a rescan or will all the swaps between Capital and win match to existing channel items already on BW.
What about the Picicons ? Will they map or will we need a new firmware that recognises them.
