Re: Issue connecting wifi on U4
I agree that if possible get a mesh system that uses Ethernet for back-hall (connecting satellite units to the main units) or less desirably uses a separate WIFI channel for the back-hall. My Asus mesh system relies of Ethernet for backhall. I was thinking more a mesh system that uses wifi backhaul...

As an alternative you might consider a wifi mesh system. Probably more expensive, but in my experience likely to have nuch better data transfer performance than powerline adapters. It is very easy to deactivate IceTV on a Beyonwiz. Did you mean on an IceBox? If so, then would the TVHeadend config change such that the FTA grabber came into play, and the channel EPG setup change to allow for the change of EPG source? I don't know because I've not tried it. I wish IceTV all the luck and success - would be interesting to see what their user interface looks like. I'd look at Avidemux https://avidemux.sourceforge.net/. It has flip options (vertical/horizontal).
It looks like maybe recompressing the video is necessary to apply the flip filter, but holiday movies are probably likely to be short anyway so not too much in the way of processing time.
Worth a try.
