Re: Enigma 2 replacement model
There is an Enigma2 add-on frontend add-on with LibreELEC - not tried it myself. It is described as "Kodi's frontend for VU+ / Enigma2 based set-top boxes". Not sure what the frontend does. Might try it and find out. TVHeadend has both frontend and backend has both frontend and backend fo...

I wish IceTV all the luck and success - would be interesting to see what their user interface looks like. You could look yourself with their BYOB software, but for that you'll need a PC with a spare HDD and I'm pretty sure at least one compatible USB TV tuner. Alternatively, you could install their...

Exactly what I was after, I assume I can edit this line without causing any problems The file has Unix style line endings - a single <LF> to terminate a line, not DOS/Windows line endings (<CR><LF>). There has been an issue for some time since Windows 10 at least, with BW access to Windows shares. I'd look at Avidemux https://avidemux.sourceforge.net/. It has flip options (vertical/horizontal).
It looks like maybe recompressing the video is necessary to apply the flip filter, but holiday movies are probably likely to be short anyway so not too much in the way of processing time.
Worth a try.
