Just have a couple questions, does dreamplex resume video from one device to another like other PLEX clients and will it mark video as watched and unwatched and sort by unwatched etc?

Well I think I may have cracked it. Here's what I did. 1. Renamed Lounge to Temp and Dummy to Lounge on IceTV so Lounge is now on top. 2. Changed all timers device to Lounge as renaming changes the device name. 3. Deleted all devices on IceTV except Lounge. 4. On Lounge DPS1, disabled icetv, cleared...

Still no joy. Set IceTV as follows.

0: Dummy - DP-Lite
1: Lounge - DP-S1
2. Shed - DP-S1
3. Study - Windows 8

I can get the guide on both S1's but have had this before. Just no timers.

Very frustrating. I think I'm looking at deleting all my timers and starting again.

Any other ideas?

As you suggest, And in my opinion, whenever there are multiple devices with a BW in the mix, there needs to be a dummy (unused) entry as the first device. This is pretty much as I expected except for number 2. Good to know I can do both ways. Just a bugger they can't wake each other but is still workable.

Not sure how bad the blue light is. I guess it must be annoying if people have tried to cover it up.

That was it. I used m2ts as elysian suggested and the resolution is now perfect. I also remuxed to ts again with the same settings just to be sure and the problem returned. Thanks for the tip.

I think I worked it out. I had both the AC3 and DTS formats as I left the preserve DTS checked. Trying again now.

I can play the MKV but can be jerky over the network and I have lip sync issues. Converting to TS fixes this but appears to create this other problem.

I've been using TsMuxer to convert MKV files to TS for play back on my DP-S1. I was wondering if anyone has noticed that the resolution seems to change? That is, the MKV file has black bars top and bottom and the TS fills the screen and the picture appears to stretched up and down.

This is a bit off subject but for the sake of another thread...I noticed that tsmuxer can join files but does not support avi.

Does anyone know of a program that can join avi files encoded in xvid/ac3 or xvid/mp3?

GOM and VLC both work great. I like the way you can control the volume in GOM with the mouse wheel. Very nice feature.
