I can't work out from the code why disabling "Prefer AC3 track" works. eDVBServicePMTHandler::getProgramInfo in lib/dvb/pmt.cpp (lines 572-598). Preferring AC3 (or DDP, but we can't turn that on) will select the first non-MPEG track if there's no AC3 track. I find this hugely frustrating!...

Limiting timeshift buffer would be ideal... either in length, or more ideally setting a size limit on it.

I regularly leave my Beyonwiz on and it fills the entire HDD.

The other ideal thing would be to set an expiry on recurring recordings so they delete (i.e. news).

This has been discussed recently on the forum, and it seemed to be generally agreed that the normal Location scan should also clear the old scan data first. Yes, this! I'm still having this issue. The EPG refresh setting doesn't seem to do much for me. Often I turn the TV on and most of the channels have no EPG data until I manually change to each channel.

A bit annoying to have to change to each channel. I have a T4 and am on the beta stream.

So I transferred the HDD from one to another and simply restored the settings...

In short, everything has worked so far without fail - including my timers (autotimers). While I know it isn't advised - it has worked perfectly.
