Re: Is Beyonwiz dead or alive?
Works for me. Just downloaded the latest episodes of Poh's Kitchen and At The Movies. If there is something broken, I'll need better problem reports than "no longer works". I see it's working now. The other day I tried to download some of the programs from the 'News & Politics' sectio...

The WizTV Podcast section no longer works.
How long has it been since they released a new model?
Are they even working on a new model?

Beyonwiz Freeview EPG
It would be nice if Beyonwiz entered the Freeview EPG market. Surely there has to be money in it. Older people who don't have an internet connection would be the target demographic. I know you guys don't like the hobbled featuers of Freeview branded products, but you cannot deny that some people wou...

Hey Bruce, You should have a play around with a TAPped up Toppy 2400. Now that's the way EPG and file playing should be accessed. Plus it has DLNA. Unfortunately, Topfield haven't got the firmware as as stabe as it needs to be - yet! I'll have to look into getting one some day. The YouTube app on t...

The only weaknesses I see with the Beyonwiz is the EPG, basic style in its GUI and inability to display webpages and flash. I can set the recordings on my iPod touch, but since it's a 1st generation with issues, there are times when it just won't turn on. Plus I don't charge my iPod touch very often...

Bruce, I have a new Samsung TV and am not a Bigpond customer. The content works perfectly well for me. It can use up to 700Mb per hour depending on the quality of the stream you choose. Be aware however that the NRL games are delayed by up to 24 hours, so if you want to see them live you will still...

Does anyone know if the Samsung products that come with the Bigpond TV channels and Bigpond Movies are available to persons whose ISP is not Bigpond? I don't see any info on Bigpond's Samsung page suggesting people need a Bigpond connection. If one isn't needed then I might invest in a blu-ray playe...

Hi Bruce85, I think that most of us in this forum would consider ourselves to be average people. We might be average in most ways, but when it comes to watching TV we are a minoirty. I don't know any women/old people who have done that. If Beyonwiz wants to tap into those segments of the population then they need to give them something that they can understand. What is Beyonwiz's future? I think it's obvious that the company's best days are long behind them.. The bloke I spoke with at The Good Guys said the support centre for Beyonwiz is down. But I presume since it will be your router (e.g. 192.168.0.1 if that is your router gateway address) you don't really need a secondary (since your router is probably given a primary and secondary from your ISP, and the router's job is to provide you a ...

I ordered a WizOTT from DealSpace.com.au on the 9th of April. Paypal says the e-Cheque I sent cleared around Thursday/Friday.
Dealspace.com.au says the order is still processing.
How long should I expect to wait for it to arrive in the mail?

I had the same problem when I first bought mine. That was mid-2009. Restoring the firmware to its original state and uploading the latest one might fix the problem.
