My ageing dpp2 has two issues with recording.
+ it only allows one recording at a time
+ it doesn't turn off after doing a timer recording.

Any ideas?

Have you formatted the drive since install 350 or were they before that?

I formatted the drive again this morning - can't remember if I did it at the time of installing 1.05.350 - I would have follwed the forum instructions, but I am not sure when I did it.

Ian, thanks for that. I understood I had to use firmware of the 1.05 series as my unit has a serial number 1022...... I was previously using a 1.07 series firmware, but i rolled back to 1.05 based on earlier advice. Rob

No that's my Netgear wireless router - the only Transact hardware I have is the TransTV box which I never use, but it seems to play an integral part in enabling the basic broadband connection - could it have a modem built-in - it seems unlikely but as I have amply demonstrated, I know nix!

Peter, yes, I think you are right, it needs to go to the router first. I did try plugging it all directly into the router but that didn't work so I have reverted to the previous setup. Thanks for your input, cheers, Rob
